FAQ PREAFAQ3: Student progress with custom curriculums

QUESTION:
I have assigned a curriculum to my class. However, no matter which report I check, I still can't see that my students have made any progress. What happened?
SYMPTOM:
- Students have made progress but the progress cannot be seen in student reports.
ANSWER:
This occurs when a change is made to a class's curriculum while the students assigned to that class are logged on to the student program. The reason progress can not be viewed in the reports is because the students are working in the previous curriculum.
To correct this:
- Make sure no students are logged on to the student program.
- Navigate to www.larsonmath.com and log on.
- Click UTILITIES on the CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM tab.
- Click Edit Class List in the CLASS SETUP TOOLS section.
- Click Add/Remove Students in Class List.
- Click NEW CLASS LIST.
- On the Please select a publisher or state standard from one of the lists below. page, select any correlation.
- On the Please select a correlation. page, select any correlation.
- Type "temp" in the Please enter the name of your class. box. This is just a placeholder.
- Click OK.
- If you are logged on as an administrator, select your name in the Please select an instructor for this class. box.
- Click OK.
- Select "temp" from the ADD TO: column.
- In the REMOVE FROM: column, select the class for which you would like to change the curriculum.
- Highlight all of the student names and then click < ADD STUDENTS. Now all of the affected students are in the "temp" class.
- To get the students back in the appropriate class so that their curriculum now matches their class, click the SELECT CLASS LIST above the ADD TO: column.
- Select the class.
- Click the SELECT CLASS LIST above the REMOVE FROM: column and choose the "temp" class.
- Highlight all of the student names and then click < ADD STUDENTS.
- Click RETURN twice.
- Click Edit Curriculum.
- Click Add/Remove Curriculum Assignment.
- Select the class.
- Click OK.
- Select the curriculum
- Click OK.
- Highlight all of the student names.
- Click ADD CURRICULUM ASSIGNMENT.
Now the appropriate progress will show in the reports for the class.
